The "Priceless Heritage"

What's on the other side of the wall?
Let this moment-capturing machines give you an idea!

Credits to Jossana and JC for lending me their cameras as my subject.

WELCOME TO INTRAMUROS!

As you enter the walls of Intramuros, those roaming kalesas (a horse-drawn carriage) completes the ambiance of the place's classic feature. Along with these chaises were the coachmen that wears a traditional Filipino rural outfit as their costumes to give such totality. As well as those guards who were scattered around the place wearing the Spanish-era outfits that made them to deserve a name so called Guardia Civil. Seeing them will  make you feel to greet them a Buenos Dias/Noches. Shame on me, I forgot to told them to strike a pose at my lens.

Beside from those things, there are many ways to love Intramuros.

ICONIC ARCHITECTURE

And as I explore the place even more. This wooden carved door (about a 12 ft. in height) really caught my attention. Less the cable wires hanged at the top of it.

I was just amazed to the sculptor who gave his whole heart carving the woods together with his hammer and chisel. And speaking with wood carving, here is another thing that impress me a lot. (never mind my face hilariously looking at it)

It's a Dabakan Drum traditionally seen in Muslim region and one of the Maguindanao ensemble.
I can't even imagine how the artisan worked hard carving its details. As a matter of fact, we use to have one during our Muslim cultural performances, but I can say that this one is really enormous!

My feet were quite painful, but then, i found my favorite spot in this place.

The National Commission for Culture and the Arts main office.
                     Sorry for the face! ;P
I really don't know why... but I think my heart belongs here!
As an Artist, being affiliated in this office will be such great achievement.

tick-tock. tick-tock. tick-tock. tick-tock. tick-tock. tick-tock. tick-tock. tick-tock. tick-tock. tick-tock.

I feel the butterflies in my stomach after a long walk. Finally we decided to find place to eat. And it was certainly my favorite part of the trip!
I and the company ended up at the Suquis Eatery. It was fully air-conditioned that made me feel relax and comfortable to the place after a long, tiring and exhausting walk. Plus factor the ambiance and setting of the eatery was really classic too.

                                            A not so extraordinary menu

                                Garlic Beef Tenderloin Tips.
I ordered a Garlic Beef Tenderloin Tips from a not so extraordinary menu and according to the lady whom I asked of what is their best-seller, she answered this one. It is quite costly compare to other eatery who caters sizzling plates, but I can say that this one deserves a PhP. 80.00/order.

nom. nom. nom. nom. nom. nom. nom. nom. nom. nom. nom. nom. nom. nom. nom. nom. nom. nom.

My craving taste buds wasn't really enough for this, so we jump from Suquis Eatery to Kitchen Basics and Ciocolatta for some sweeties.

As we come out from the eatery, I out of the blue looked at the sky and noticed that the sun was about to set. There, I realize and assess what happened to my day. It was sooo tiring yet enjoying, exhausting but still exciting. The beauty of a place depends upon your appreciation and the depth of your curiosity into its appearance, and with the right mixture of a good company and best minds you will surely love any place you go.

Subsidy Cut-off

Tama ba?
